Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards. The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace. Upstairs at Landrace is a casual neighbourhood bar & bistro, our food is led by ingredients which are carefully sourced from local farms and market gardens, we work with producers who have a natural approach to growing and use regenerative, high welfare farming techniques. Another memorable meal complete with a birthday surprise. Good to see the feast menu is updated at regular intervals. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful meal for my father’s 85th birthday. He throughly enjoyed his lunch plus the special extra touches that made his day special. One of the highlights was the ‘scone’ with Jam and cream. My parents - both Cornish (born there and now live there!) raised some debate and laughter! Staff are attentive and the food was delicious.

Exquisite lunch at Landrace as usual! Delicious small plates to share - the cheese fritters are always a must but today really enjoyed the boquerones and Devon crab on toast. The Cantabrian boquerones were so tasty in a luxurious olive oil - perfect on the Landrace bread! Thank you!
