We had our table booked for 7.15 but got there 10 minutes early, and they were able to seat us early, which was great. The service was great, and our waiter was particularly so, unfortunately, I didn't get his name. The food was lovely and each course came out on time on a very busy valentines evening.

Wow!! Wow!! Factor 🥰🥰🥰 Travelled all over the world. Eaten in many top restaurants. This was at a completely different level. OMG amazing customer service. Never experienced anything like it. My wife and I had the pleasure of celebrating Valentine's Day at The Wine Cellar at Fallon & Byrne, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped into the cozy, candlelit basement, we knew we were in for a memorable evening. The ambiance was intimate yet lively, striking the perfect balance between elegance and warmth. The exposed brick walls, soft lighting, and the extensive selection of wines surrounding us created an atmosphere that felt both refined and inviting. The wine list, as expected, was outstanding—carefully curated with an impressive variety to suit every palate. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, helping us select the perfect bottle to complement our meal. Their recommendations were spot on, and their attention to detail made us feel truly valued. As for the food, it was simply divine. Every dish was crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. From the artisanal cheese board to the perfectly cooked mains, each bite was a delight. What truly set the evening apart, however, was the service. The team was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed for a seamless dining experience. Very good food. My tomato starter was rather bland (needed a dressing - maybe a balsamic glaze or just a vinaigrette dressing?) but the rest of the meal was very good. The pork belly was excellent. Crackling was so tasty. Tiramisu lovely and the mango sorbet delightful.

Nice atmosphere in Thomas Madden room ,the new table layout makes a pleasant improvement. The duck starter was tasty and very well presented as was the beef main course. AS for the dessert, how can you go wrong with apple crumble topped with a generous serving of ice cream !! Bliss. White wine very well priced and excellent value. As usual the serving staff were friendly and professional. We drive 80 Km to have lunch/dinner at the club which says it all
