With a wide range of local and sustainable suppliers at our doorstep, from our Lobsters and Crabs at Belhaven Lobsters in Dunbar to our vegetables and Native breed meats at Free Company Farm in Balerno we’re lucky to be taking advantage of Scotlands unique and unrivalled natural larder. The food was great the haggis bonbons are a must . I had sea trout and it was wonderful . My friends had sirloin and ribeye steak and both said it was the best they have had. Don’t be fooled with the small plates , we all have healthy appetites but after sharing the small plates to start and then the larger main plates it was an early night for us. The service was helpful and friendly and we even had a birthday candle when I let them know it was my friends birthday . Many thanks and well done to the whole team, I will definitely return next time I visit your beautiful city.

We booked in the morning we arrived in Edinburgh. We actually got engaged a couple of hours before food. Upon arrival the waitress was chatting to my finance and they got talking about the proposal. We were tested to a glass of fizz as we were seated and then talked through the menu which was amazing. Food was unbelievable and the service amazing. We had our 1 year old with us and they were great with him and we would recommend to go.
