A few short steps from the British Museum, The Blue Door Bistro provides a welcoming and informal bistro-style setting. We had a day trip into London and we all really wanted Italian. Seeing that this restaurant made its own pasta was just fantastic so we had to try it! I had the lobster pasta which was really tasty, my daughter had the boar and my husband had the vongole which was also super. We had some nice wine to compliment the dishes. Despite it being incredibly busy the waitress was able to get us seated quite quickly. Service was very friendly - the whole experience was fantastic

Ce restaurant m’a été chaleureusement recommandé et nous n’avons pas été déçu. De l’accueil, à la fin du repas nous avons été ravis. Les plats étaient gourmands et copieux, les serveurs étaient juste top et la musique de fond, du Stevie Wonder à Creedence à Matt Simons…c’était parfait.

Went for my birthday dinner with friends. Very traditional old English hotel which I loved. Limited menu but the food was very nice. We enjoyed it. We weren't rushed to leave the table. I'll be back
