The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour. A shimmering central dining bar in the restaurant draws admiring attention, and the signature harlequin stained-glass windows, oak panelling and striking contemporary art collection ensure the longevity of this very British of dining institutions. Executive Chef Gary Lee creates balanced seasonal menus, featuring Ivy classics, but accounting for today’s tastes, incorporating more Asian dishes, salads and vegetables, and the advent of a “sea and shells” section. Director Fernando Peire leads a strong and experienced team to deliver the unfaltering service for which The Ivy has become well known over the years. Wonderful ambience, great service and food was delicious. We had the cheese soufflé, butternut squash soup to start, Goose and Turkey Shepherds Pie, haddock and chips and risotto for our main courses. Friendly service and we were in and out in an hour and a half, in time for a theatre matinee at 2pm.

We thoroughly enjoyed our late night dinner at the Savoy. It’s my third Gordon Ramsay restaurant and it did not disappoint. The service was particularly exceptional and friendly. We enjoyed a variety of appetizers, various steak options for entrées, and of course, the sticky butter toffee pudding dessert. Still one of my top three desserts. Well worth a chance to go if we can!

Excellent bday celebration. 4th time that we have been. Excellent food, very attentive service from Maria (from Brazill) and her team. I tend to go for my bdays and I am never disappointed. Their taste of Hakkasan deal is also value for money for a restaurant of this calibre. Thank you for making my birthday special.

The service was professional and attentive. Attention to detail….an empty cup or plate was addressed immediately. Service was genuine and friendly….absolutely delightful.
