Located on High Holborn, close to the British Museum, the restaurant is elegantly designed and filled with original Indian art and antique furniture including century old items made for Maharajas which take diners on a journey through Indian culture and history. The menu reflects regional accents with a contemporary viewpoint. It is food that observes the established traditions of Indian cooking but breaks the rules a little by Executive Chef Sohan Bhandari. Our menu goes beyond a 1970’s “Curry”, beyond street food and into a world of real Indian flavours. Our signature dishes include our traditional lunch Tiffin, Khaati Rolls , Colonel Saab’s smoked lamb shank and figs poached in Assam tea cognac.The bar is a great meeting place and afterwork destination serving signature house cocktails created to compliment the menu. Colonel Saab’s two beautiful private dining rooms ideal for any event up to 26 guests.

Suppliers have been carefully selected during food buying trips, with family owned and run Haye Farm supplying poultry, eggs and organic fruit and vegetables to all Petersham Nurseries restaurants. Drawing inspiration from Boglione’s Richmond family home, Petersham House, the interiors demonstrate a charming elegance.

A few short steps from the British Museum, The Blue Door Bistro provides a welcoming and informal bistro-style setting. Light and airy at lunchtime, warm and cosy by evening, the room is decorated on three sides with a panoramic view of London circa 1849. Together with the rich mahogany panelled walls, effective use of mirrored glass, and contemporary wrought iron wall lights, an ambience rooted in the hotel’s location is beautifully achieved. Executive chef, Martin Halls, blends seasonal ingredients and herbs from our garden with classical techniques to create seasonal British menus. Our cuisine is commended with an AA rosette and accredited by the Sustainable Restaurant Association (2 stars). In all of our products, we only use free-range eggs and are committed to sustainable fisheries for our fish supplies. Our team are trained to ensure that your specific dietary requirements are catered for at all times.

The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour.
