Holy Basil in Croydon Victoria has a very simple vision, to bring wholesome, delicious and exciting food to the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Our dream at Holy Basil was to create an exciting diner in the Eastern suburbs where people can relax, come together, have fun and enjoy proper homemade food in a very inclusive environment. We are proud to deliver 100% vegan and Vegetarian options at Holy Basil, use free-range eggs and source only sustainably caught seafood as well as a range of other exciting meals with 95% of the menu being gluten free.At Holy Basil we make our own curry pastes, sauces, desserts, chilli jam, and roti.We happily use gluten free soy and 100% pure fish sauce.We greatly appreciate your support in choosing to dine at Holy Basil.     We love this restaurant! From the moment you arrive you are greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The food is delicious and we are so grateful that staff are willing to cater for allergies by adapting their menu and providing so many choices. This also applies to their drinks menu which includes vegan wines. Thank you Holy Basil! We will be back!

    This was a lovely experience from the pretty setting to the excellent wait staff and the delicious food. We were pleasantly surprised that it was relatively quiet, and we could enjoy our Christmas catch up with no difficulty hearing each other. I would thoroughly recommend this venue for a special occasion lunch.

    I asked if they would do a veg. Lasagne and I got a message telling me as of tonight they would be serving one and boy was it worth the wait. The food was delicious and the virgin pina colada was lovely. We will be returning very soon.

    Delicious food, comfortable and spacious setting. Great staff, that knew the menu very well and we’re able to make modifications and suggestions. We had a fantastic night.
