Chez Catherine is consistently rated one of the Best French Restaurants in New Jersey. It provides a wonderful dining experience from the warm greeting when you enter to the last sip of wine. This mainstay of Westfield, NJ for the last 38 years delivers quality cuisine and impeccable service. The owner, Stephane Bocket was born in Dunkerque, France. Stephane was the Maitre d'Hotel for 12 years before purchasing Chez Catherine in 2016. His career spans many years at Alain Ducasse's restaurants in NYC and France and before that in a number of other restaurants throughout France.The Chef de Cuisine is Christine Migton. Christine graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. Her dishes revisit traditional French cuisine but use different flavors and tastes. She works to provide lighter and healthier ingredients wherever possible while maintaining that special French touch.

    First time back to Luciano’s after a long time and I must say it was very delightful. Everything from service to atmosphere and food was top tier. I have been to many restaurants in the past which include famous steak houses and I have never had a steak that good in my life. Best restaurant in town!

    A New Year's Day Lunch to Remember! We kicked off the new year with a fantastic lunch at Deccan Spice Restaurant in Edison on January 1st! The team has truly outdone themselves with their revamped menu and carefully crafted full-meal thali. Standout Dishes: 1. Salmon Bites: Crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. 2. Authentic Indian Curries: Rich, aromatic, and expertly prepared. 3. Viennese Desert Presentation: A stunning finale to our meal, both visually and taste-wise. Ambiance and Service: The restaurant's warm and inviting atmosphere, combined with exceptional service, made our dining experience truly unforgettable. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and ensured that our glasses were always filled. The revamped menu and thali options offer excellent value for the quality and quantity of food.     Certainly a hidden gem! We spent an incredible Christmas Eve dinner at Chez Catherine. The food was spectacular and the maître made great suggestions. The risotto was superb. We are definitely coming back soon!
