Sullivan’s Quay (pronounced, “Key”) or “Sullie’s Quay,” as it is known locally, is one of the oldest settled parts of my home, County Cork. The word Quay is actually defined: A wharf formed towards the sea or at the side of a harbour for convenience of loading or unloading goods.You will notice our dining room walls adorned with Murals of Architecture from the area of Sullivan’s Quay around the 19th century, when Jack Sullivan, whom the area is named after, patrolled the streets selling beer and wine to the local saloonkeepers. This is my third venture in eating at Trattoria Diane's each time the food and service were consistently excellent. The prices on the menu are average for what some eateries might charge for a restaurant of this stature. There are a number of fish entrees to chose from. I had the pounded cod topped with arugula which was excellent, while my girlfriend had the salmon. There was a nice selection of salads to chose from. In conclusion, I can only add is that we will be back again.

Fine dining establishment that knows how to do it right. When you think of fine dining on the north shore you think of a steak house. You forget about places like this. Excellent food, great atmosphere, great service.
