The only thing to me personally that they should reevaluate there dress code if they want to stick to it. Because that was the case last night somebody came in with ripped jeans 👖. Other then that everything is very good 👍

Excellent, attentive service from start to finish. I loved the personal call to confirm our reservation and that our server already knew about our dietary restrictions before we even sat down. Food was delicious - I’m still thinking about that scallop tartare. Our party of two ordered a snack, an app and two mains. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and presented, with creative flair but no pretentiousness. The dishes were well-portioned - we did not go home hungry and next time would save room for dessert. I understand that Arlo boasts a well-curated selection of wines, but the sober and sober-curious will be interested to know that they make super yummy non-alcoholic cocktails too. Finally, the ambiance and decor create a dining experience that feels cozy and comfortable but unique. Arlo does everything right. Can’t wait for our next visit.

We (my husband, daughter and I) had a lovely dinner - the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent! There were so many wonderful choices. We shared our choices of appetizers, which were all exceptional- the vegetable samosas were the best I have ever tasted! We all enjoyed our main courses - the ooty woodland mushroom curry, the pepper lamb and the lagoon's shrimp mango curry. Everything was cooked to perfection. The coconut lime whipped custard crumble was a lovely light dessert to follow this wonderful meal - and the cardamon chai was delicious too. We will be returning for sure! Thank you to the chef and to the staff for a wonderful evening!

This was our second time at North and Navy and again...not disappointed! The food was to die for. The service was spectacular. The drinks were spot on and the price is reasonable. Can't wait for our third visit :)

10/10 experience - this was my first time at Gitanes and it was great. Food was exceptional, service was lovely, and vibes were cozy & secluded. Ottawa gem!
