This was probably the greatest culinary experience of my life. Managed to get a booking for the Valentine’s Day meal. Not just were the hosts incredibly hospitable but incredibly attentive. The highlights of the menu were almost the entire thing. Both desserts were sublime, the TFC, caviar gougère and roast chicken were amazing. I’ve never seen a scallop as big in my life and for the duck course the main star of that dish in my opinion was the morels. We were put on the chefs table which was like looking into a finely tuned, well oiled machine. There is an almost 100 percent chance I’ll be back in the future.

This is such a good restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere, lovely setting and excellent staff. And, of course, the food… Peking Duck is simply delicious and not excessively priced. The other dishes were also really good (especially the Kung Pao prawns, though £15 for a small bowl of simple egg-fried rice, no matter how good, was pushing it. The wine-list is interesting, but also expensive. However, dining here really is a treat, and the Peking Duck is stellar.

Another amazing Sunday lunch. All aspects of the meal excellent especially the cheesy leeks! Sat in side area of pub great but very noisy once a few more tables taken. Will definitely return.

Had my birthday dinner and it was so lovely. This place is great and the staff are amazing. Especially Paulina & Camilla, absolute stars!

Not very busy but service was good, food was timely and well presented, staff were very helpful. A good experience.
