Villa Barolo Ristorante and Wine Bar features creative Italian-inspired dishes using the fresh seafood and game meats. It offers at least four different organic specialties a day. Try its pan seared foie gras with grilled Portobello mushrooms and Belgium endive, its pheasant breast that is lightly seasoned and pan roasted and served with roasted chipollini and mushrooms, or a combination of caribou and lamb chops marinated with fresh garlic and rosemary drizzled with a honey rosemary demi-glaze. Service and food excellent! Loved our appetizers and entrees! The filet was exceptional. A little disappointed in dessert as The Brownie Cookie Skillet recipe seems to have changed. My husband always looks forward to that dessert, but it contained Less cookie, overly sweet and wasn’t cooked through.

Food was excellent. Our server, Ryan, was wonderful. He was friendly, personable and extremely attentive and helpful. The only downside was the noise level. However, it did not detract from a wonderful meal.

The Jarrettown Hotel is one of our favorite venues. There are they plenty of options on the menu along with specials to choose from. We had the 8oz. filet mignon special I must say that this was one of the best filets that we ever had. The service was excellent and our waitress made regular check ins to see if we had any additional needs. This was another excellent dining experience.
