Pa’La means “for-the…” and it is forged in a passion to deliver food and wine that is inherently approachable and human to our community of people. Drawing from coastal cultures of the Mediterranean and South America, ingredients are sourced locally with wild caught seafood, organic grains, and vegetables. We created a wine program that complements the seasonality of our menu.Focusing on organic, sustainably farmed, and high-quality products; curating a list of 300 labels, most accessible to all, and representing 15 countries, from the coastal Mediterranean, Europe, to the American continent. Quiessence is a fine dining, true farm to table restaurant located at The Farm at South Mountain, a 10 acre oasis by South Mountain. We have a 2 acre organic garden onsite that we utilize as much as possible for our dishes. Our menu changes regularly based on local and seasonal availability. We offer tasting menus with the option of doing 3, 4 or 5 courses. The restaurant itself is housed in the original farmhouse of the property giving the restaurant plenty of rustic charm. Patio dining is also highly sought after when the weather is nice.

Not our first visit, but definitely our best! The menu, always do the 5 course, was perfection. Our server was on top of our every need. The rest of the staff was friendly, picked up on our joking fun nature and laughed with us. The farm is beautiful and the food was fresh.

We quite honestly were stunned by the price of the grilled veal chop/shank special, $76!!! I guess it was our bad for not asking, but considering my husband had first ordered the linguini & clams for $29, but switched when our server shared "tonight's specials," I feel our server should have shared the price, especially since I had already declined David's recommendation for a $90 bottle of wine. We ended up choosing a less expensive $52 bottle of merlot. Sadly, your pricing blew our dining out budget for the month! I strongly suggest you train your waitstaff to share the prices for your specials! Having said that, the meal was very delicious!
