Established in 1959, owners Jenny Youll and Mike Sabina expanded the once small coffeehouse of St. Michaels Alley into this intimate dining establishment in 2009. The restaurant provides three comfortable spaces for a dinner out with friends, date night, or a complete private event. The main dining room is wood paneled and intimate. The front room / bar area is more casual and social, yet still offers tables with linens and the full menu. The solid wood bar is a favorite dining spot for many of the regulars and locals. Nice cozy restaurant with nice atmosphere. The food was great and the service too. Just a little loud from boisterous folks at neighboring tables. But still romantic and fun at the same time.

Are server Oscar was amazing. He helped my sister with directions to the restaurant which is hard as she as a flip phone but she made it. Are meal was perfect Oscar suggested the soup for my husband as as a swallowing issue. The soup was perfect. My sister had the filet also perfect, I had the pasta with salmon also delicious . The appetizers were delicious we had the Burrata and the charcuterie plate. Thanks for such a amazing dinner. Next time we are down in January we will definitely be back. PS my daughter was upset that she didn’t get to go she loves your raviolis.

Great service, ambiance, and overall experience! We split some starters (the bread and veggies for the burrata was overcharred but the dish itself was perfect), and had the steak sandwich, Chinese chicken salad, Roasted Chicken, and Zambrini. Every dish was flavorful. Surprisingly the parking wasn’t as difficult as I had feared. I would definitely return. Just make sure to book well in advance!
