Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times. On Valentines night we had a great night . The food was excellent , the service first class with a great lead waiter and it was full of interesting couples who were having a great time .

Peerless in the local area. Food superb, some amazing dishes which were all good. From chicken pie to steak, risotto, chicken parfait to tarts tatin all superb Local bar also part of the pub restaurant which was nice to see. Only negative was one of the bar proper uppers decided it was ok to vape at the bar - pretty disgusting and staff seemed accepting of this as most diners had left at that point . Well done Duncombe, superb meal and top of your game

A lovely place for a catch up with friends. The staff and service were friendly , and the coffee was really good. Well worth those few extra steps up the high street.
