The Butcher Chef is one of the high-end steak house in Toronto. It competes with Jacob&Co and Blueblood. It is my first time going to this fancy restaurant and have high expectations. Luckily, my restaurant did not disappoint me. Service is top-notch, price is on the higher side but portion is generous. We ordered beef and king crab roll for app, truffle ravioli to share, 16oz Argentina ribeye with sautéed mushroom, finish off with the cheesecake. Truffle Ravioli is the highlight of the night, the ravioli filled with A5 minced beef, top of truffle, and good portion to share. Steak is well seasoned and comes with 3 types of salt from around the world. We love the beef and king crab roll, a very special combination that never finds in other restaurants. Definitely, we will come back and try different things from the menu!

Simply incredible! Every course was delicious. I wanted to lick the plate clean but thought that would be rude.

My Experience was a 10/10 I went to celebrate my boyfriends birthday the food was so good I got the lamb with lobster Mac n cheese and he got the beef short rib with mash potatoes omg the food was so good well seasoned and everything😜🫶🏽 Service was also excellent we switched up the time like 4 times and they made it so easy love that and big up to Dee our waiter he was amazing.

It was great having Chef Bennet come out and introduce us to a dish. U can feel that the tasting menu is coming from Chef Bennett's Root (South Africa). The menu was very earthy and exciting from dish to dish. The Juice pairing that was offered was great as well.

I dined solo at this restaurant, and my server, Ray, was an absolute ray of sunshine. She was incredibly sweet and went out of her way to keep me company and check on me, even though she had a full section to manage. The service was impeccable. As for the food, it was decent, though not extraordinary; I’d describe it as "pretty average." That said, I’d still recommend giving it a try at least once. The restaurant itself is charming, and super cute. I don’t think I would return for the food itself but I love the service there and will return for their service. Thank you for making my little visit to Toronto a little more exciting!
