Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House.     My wife and I celebrated her birthday there, it was phenomenal. It began with our waitress Bolade who wad magnificent and extended to everyone we met. It extended all the way up to the general manager Kerry Macphail, who came out to personally greet and acknowledge us on this momentous occasion. The ambiance and food quality are exceptional and add to the refinement and elegance of the entire experience. For a great meal, wonderful company and a truly memorable experience (aside from being the lucky husband), you must check out La Grande Boucherie, it is unforgettable.

    We had a great experience at Joe’s last night. We had a 7:30 reservation, but the restaurant was backed up due to a busy night. We didn’t get seated till 8pm, which initially rubbed us the wrong way, but the Joe’s service team did an excellent job making up for it. The host who brought us to the table apologized and made a clear effort to get us seated as soon as possible, and our server was on top of it all night. The food was excellent as usual, everything fresh and made to perfection. The branzino was particularly delicious, not a single bone and cooked very well. The service finished strong by giving us dessert on the house, and the peanut butter and key lime pie were outstanding. Overall, great experience at Joe’s and a great example of how a restaurant can bounce back from an initial issue and still give us a great experience. Will definitely be going back
