It matches that restaurant’s dedication to food, wine, and service, but it has a Japanese farmhouse aesthetic with crafted materials and warm finishes to round out a completely updated setting. The chef team at Uchiko has created a brand new selection of composed dishes and sushi, taken from ideas and plates created at Uchi. Uchiko is Uchi rede­fined. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. We are a bustling neighborhood restaurant in the heart of north loop. We are one of Austins oldest farm to table concepts. Our menu is foreign in style, while domestically sourced. Our menus change with the season, farm availability, & on chefs whim. Join us for our nose to tail tasting menu nightly if you appreciate whole animal usage. Our wine program is aimed toward biodynamic natural small production wines. If you'd like to have pre or post dinner cocktails, our awesome neighbors include the tigress bar & drink.well.Please note that we have a 15 minute grace period on reservation arrival times. Should you find yourself running late, please give us a call or the table may be released to a waiting guest. Tables of 1-2 guests will be reserved for 1.5 hours, tables of 3-4 will be reserved for 1 hour and 45 minutes, tables of 6+ will be reserved for 2 hours. These times reflect standard dining times of our guests. Should you feel that you need additional time, please notate this.

Sammie’s is a little taste of old Italy in downtown Austin. It celebrates the great ‘red sauce’ institution—inspired by old school, legendary Italian-American restaurants.     One: they had no issue splitting a tasting menu between two people in addition to us ordering a number of other things, which was a delightful and excellent way to taste what they had to offer. Two, dollar oysters on Tuesdays and half off small plates during happy hour meant an extremely reasonably priced luxury dinner - I think they do tartare the best in this city, their pork pate was delicious, and the tasting menu was fantastic. portions are good, servers are informed, it’s all kindsa good!

    We’ve been ordering from here for years, and we’re so thankful to finally be able to visit in person. Allison was a wonderful waitress, who made our anniversary feel extra special with their care & attention. All the staff we interacted with were wonderful, the restaurant was beautiful, the food perfect, and the facilities clean & well maintained. Coming back here many times more in the future!

    My husband and I have been to Plank on two other occasions for happy hour, which we thought was decent - but not necessarily our favorite. This time we went with our two young children at lunch time on a Saturday and it was like a totally different experience! The kids meals have a ton of bang for their buck! Our server was a little on the quiet side but made excellent recommendations such as the ceviche to share and the fish tacos. The icing on the cake for us were the sea foam margaritas. I LOVE a good margarita but the sea foam?! Delicious! We will be back next time we are at the Domain.

    Had a great lunch with friends at Chez Zee today. Service was wonderful provided by our server, Wesley. I had the Blueberry Bleu Salad with Pecan Chicken. It was awesome. Friends had the soup special and the shrimp chowder/bisque. We will all definitely go back!

    Was a truly incredible experience. My girlfriend and I came to celebrate my birthday and we had Ivy as our waitress. She perfectly coursed out our meal and made incredible recommendations! She even brought over a birthday dish, truly going above an beyond. Highly recommend Uchiko for a special event or occasion.
