Nestled on the gates of The Windsor Great Park and Virginia Water Lake, The Bailiwick Freehouse is a gastronomic destination for locals and visitors to enjoy the very best produce that this naturally plentiful area has to offer. Working in some of the countries top restaurants, husband and wife duo Steven & Ami Ellis took over in 2021 and have since given this pub a new lease of life. They work closely with local producers to offer their guests a sophisticated twist on familiar dishes.

The Pub The Cricketers is a country pub and dining rooms with a large beer garden and outdoor patio dining in the summer. The pub is a beautifully refurbished and extended early 19th century public house. Once known to the locals as “The Old Orchard House”, we really are a hidden gem on Cricketers Lane in Warfield, just a short drive from Ascot Racecourse, Legoland and Bracknell. We are family friendly and also happy to welcome dogs into our bar and garden areas as we always have a jar of dog treats in the porch. You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. We are a tapas restaurant, drawing upon the culinary riches of the Mediterranean Basin; our plates reflect the diversity of cuisines found in Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, Italy, Greece and Lebanon. All our dishes are created by our head chef Olindo who draws on these inspirations his signature dishes including a seafood gnocchi.The open kitchen and lime wash walls define the chic, intimate dining space of Plate at No.6. Our famous Mediterranean warmth and relaxed ambience welcomes work mates and first dates, quiet drinks, and family celebrations.A selection of wines have been selected by Sicilian sommelier and Italian wine expert Virgilio Gennaro and cocktails are designed by Regan Fernandes to compliment the fresh, coastal flavours that will revolve around seasonal and local availability.     We have visited Sino on a number of occasions and have always been relatively happy with everything (the one area of improvement would be the portion sizes ) but on this occasion.. the portion sizes were really acceptable so now we really feel we’re getting value for our money and the food is absolutely amazing!!! It’s delicious and the staff are warm and very friendly. Overall a great experience and certainly would highly recommend a visit

    Love piccolinos and always a first choice for my friends and I to meet up .. with the recent updated seating and bar it looks retro - beautiful !! Food And service is amazing as always … hopefully once the windows are in it will be a little warmer in the future …

    First time dining here and our expectations were completely blown away . We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff into a beautifully clean restaurant ,we were given time to choose and told of specials without needing to ask. The staff were attentive, and the food was outstanding . We had the paneer and black pudding pakoras ,scotch egg, pork belly and lemon thyme chicken dishes , all were hot, beautifully presented , and a surprisingly large portion. A massive bonus was the free kids buffet , although he would have had something from the menu it made our sons stay extra special he could go up and choose his own meal, with lots of choices ! We were too full for dessert , but I asked if I could take a portion of chocolate torte back to my room , which staff were very agreeable to. After paying our bill they bough out the dessert and spoon for me to take back to enjoy later in the evening (which was also incredible!) We will definitely be returning very soon Thank you
