Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. Carnegie Diner & Café offers limited reservations 30% only and 70% walk in. We are brand new and we like to accommodate all of you. Carnegie Diner features an extensive all-day breakfast menu in addition to serving a wide selection of salads, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, steaks, fresh fish, pastas, desserts and more. All day breakfast items include a Classic Benedict with optional addition of lobster, Avocado Toast, a BLT Quinoa Bowl with chopped bacon and poached eggs, Steak and Eggs, and three eggs any style served with hash browns and bread. There are a dozen types of pancakes, decadent waffles and French Toast offered. The restaurant also features a full page of plant-based options. Chef Eugenia Hobson and her team prepare authentic Greek dishes served attentively in an easy-going, informal setting. Our signature dishes include the grilled octopus, the kolokithokeftedes (stuffed zucchini fritters), the lavraki whole fish (branzino) filleted table side, and the arni giouvetsi (lamb shank with orzo). Our selection of nine desserts are all made fresh daily in-house and feature Greek classics such as the baklava and the galaktoboureko. Our wine list is meticulously curated on a seasonal basis by son Philip Hobson, selecting from Greece's top vineyards who produce indigenous varietals such as Assyrtiko & Xinomavro, and western grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon & Sauvignon Blanc. Our beer selection focuses on bottled Greek brews while our bar is fully stocked to serve both classic cocktails and signature drinks inspired by the best bars in Athens. We are located in the Seneca shopping square, next to Orange Theory.
