Manor Hill Tavern occupies the historic Taylor’s Row in Old Ellicott City. Our bar and dining areas feature original architectural elements such as exposed stone walls, barn doors, and vaulted ceilings.     This was my first time at this restaurant. The decor is very inviting, tasteful, and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Food was fantastic!! The lobster ravioli appetizer was superb 👌-- very flavorful and just enough to activate the palate for the main course. The short rib pappadelle was tasty, but for me it lacked "kick" Great experience overall.

    Food, ambience and service was amazing. The hush puppies were a surprise favorite. Oysters were delicious. All of the staff were amazing and friendly. Our server Nathan was so attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Another place that will be on our permanent rotation of restaurants. We saw so many other dishes that we can’t wait to try.

    Even the unfortunate fire alarm on Christmas Day couldn't spoil the mood or the meal. We had such great food and fun, and cannot possibly recommend the resto highly enough. There was nothing like this in Columbia, when I was growing up. Hats off to positive change. I just want to know when Clove and Cardamom is coming to Montgomery County, where I now live - or, DC where I work. I'll be sure to bring my friends...often!
