The restaurant has a long and storied history, beginning in 1946 when David's great-grandfather bought a bar with a small kitchen and began making pizzas - the first ever in Dallas. The food, as our last visit two years ago, was exceptional! Service was fast, very fast for a top of the line Italian restaurant, and our server attentive. Campisi's is a must visit whenever we are in Dallas!
