A Classic French Bistro in the heart of Edison Park has been a dream of Executive Chef and owner Joe Calabrese for several years. Joe was professionally trained at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park, New York. Before opening his other restaurant, Zia’s Trattoria (located one block west of Café Touché at 6699 N. Daisies was phenomenal all around for us. The service, ambience, food were all on top notch. We had the rigatoni, stracci, the potted carrots, and the onion dip. It was honestly some of the best pastas we’ve ever had! The appetizers were also excellent. We will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu.

The best vegan food ever. We did the counter experience which allowed us to do a 6 course tasting and watch the dishes come out of the kitchen. The chef was friendly and answered all our questions. The food is creative but accessible. Every dish had a subtle spice due to the Colombian & Venezuelan influences of the owner and chef. The house made gnocchi is superb & the vegan sashimi was my favorite appetizer. I would eat everything on the menu. Dessert was fantastic also.
