Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). My visits to Luppolo have always been great. The King prawn linguine is amazing. The service is very good (particularly yesterday, on Mothers day). Its also priced reasonably. I'm definitely becoming a regular! :-)

The service was great as usual but I'm not a fan of the change to mixed emotions. The ebi bites were much better than what they have replaced them with. My 2 Sushi pieces were much smaller than usual.

Enjoyed all the food. Provided dates to break fast with. Great service. Nice ambience and setting. Must try the black cod, prawn dumplings and bang bang broccoli!
