The Elephant Walk serves Award-Winning Cambodian and French cuisine with extensive vegetarian and gluten-free selections. Cambodian cooking is beautiful and delicious, but still rare in America. Less hot and sweet than Thai, richer and more complex than Vietnamese, the complex spice pastes that are the foundation of many Cambodian dishes reflect Cambodia’s Indian ancestry (but use fresh rather than dried spices). Our Cambodian and French selections encompass both traditional and original dishes created by our Chef Nadsa de Monteiro, who was raised in Phnom Penh speaking both Cambodian and French and subsequently lived in France for many years. Silver Dove Afternoon Tea is a full service tearoom in Downtown Boston specializing in English style afternoon tea service. Steps from Government Center and the Freedom Trail, an experience at Silver Dove includes a pot of tea and a curated selection of finger foods. The food is a set menu and fixed price consisting of a variety of finger sandwiches, savory canapés, cakes, scones, macarons and other pastries which rotate seasonally.We offer 90 minute reservations for afternoon tea Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are available up to six weeks in advance. We can accommodate parties of up to six guests on weekends, and parties of up to twelve guests Wednesday through Friday.We serve a wide selection of teas and herbal infusions from around the world and of various styles. For two battle-fatigued parents looking for some adult time away from the kids, Silver Dove was exactly the reprieve we needed. As soon as we walked in, we appreciated the restaurant’s small, quiet, intimate vibe. This was matched by the rest of our experience. The staff was attentive, courteous, and kind. The drink menu was expansive, yet not overwhelming. The food was absolutely delicious, with a special shout-out to the coronation chicken and the prosciutto-wrapped dates. On our way out, we bought a gift card to share the Silver Dove with some family members. We can’t wait to hear about the experience, and we’re already eager for our next one, too.

We had seats at the bar and our bartender Jeremy was extremely attentive, making excellent cocktail and food recommendations! I was excited to try The Red Fox and can happily report that it did not disappoint! I will definitely be back to try other menu items in the future!

Excellent food and experience. Honestly, the fresh pasta and marinara was basically heaven all by itself. The only meh item was the fried cheese app, which came luke warmish, as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp. Would not order again. Would reorder everything else: house salad, chicken something or other with olives, anchovies, artichokes, asparagus, and sun dried tomatoes; came with a house salad. Nommy bread, good wine list, perfectly reasonable prices, esp considering portions.
