Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength. Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, which we have kept four years running. We also received the Thai select award from the UK Thai Embassy which certifies authenticity and the freshness of our ingredients.We’re a young team of enthusiastic individuals, who over the last few years have bought our passion and skills to the table. Cosy dining experience perfect for winter. Very beautiful interior, amazing wait staff who were knowledgeable, friendly but not intrusive. The food is really excellent.

Can’t fault! - We arrived 30 minutes early and the venue accommodated us in the cocktail bar prior and advised when the table was ready. Really lovely waitress who looked after us very well. Food was very good and the ambience perfect. We drank cocktails and champagne all night!

Easy to book. Attentive staff even when busy. Took my baby and good changing facilities. Interesting menu choices - tried foods I would never normally choose and all delicious. Just a bit pricey but worth it!
