The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Excellent food as always from this friendly family run Italian restaurant. We shared black truffle ravioli and king prawns in white wine to start. Mains were vitello Milano and halibut with saffron risotto, both were excellent. Dessert was mascarpone orange cake with home made ice cream. Can’t wait to return

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with modern beautiful minimalist -inspired decor. The menu offered a fantastic selection of traditional Greek dishes, and every item we tried was bursting with flavor. The tzatziki was creamy and fresh, the dover was perfect. Don’t miss their cheesecake — the perfect end to the meal!

The atmosphere is very welcoming and the service attentive and helpful. It feels like a local French bistro should, not overdone. There are good choices for the food and my venison was cooked perfectly.
