The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. We came for drinks and the service was outstanding - so attentive and friendly - it really made our evening extra special - thank you. We will definitely be back for dinner next time. Views were fabulous as well - all round, we had a fantastic evening with you.

Friendly, kind staff, food is fresh & tasty. Can be terribly crowded, especially with large baby carriages. Causing people to bump into one another. Carriages should be left outside in this space.

I took a friend for a little birthday lunch that turned out to be quite the experience for him as he wasn’t expecting it and he can be difficult to please. We were also there for some time so thank you to the team for their help, for being so polite and patient with us. It’s always such a pleasant atmosphere.
