Accessed from the High Street and through a glass lobby, Quod restaurant with its terrace and bar, forms the hub of the Old Bank Hotel. Formerly a banking hall it was transformed by owner Jeremy Mogford to become Oxford's largest and most successful restaurant. Stylish, contemporary design describes the space which houses an amazing collection of young British art. Sandra Blow, Craigie Aitchinson and Gary Hume adorn the walls. There is a spectacular terrace where diners can enjoy a morning coffee, the superb value two course lunch or a cocktail.

Located on the roof of the Westgate Shopping Centre, Pho is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant that specialise in pho noodle soup, the national dish of Vietnam. Aside from pho, you can also expect to find amazing sharing starters, healthy salads, hearty rice bowls and decadent curries. "The Cygnet at The Swan" is an award winning restaurant led by Paul Welburn (previously awarded Michelin star at The Oxford Kitchen 2018). We are open from Wednesday to Saturday, bookings are encouraged but not necessary.     Four friends and I visited Pho Oxford yesterday. Me and my boyfriend absolutely love it there (we went the Friday before) and really wanted our friends to try it. The food is seriously outstanding and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I really recommend it for anyone. Just amazing!!

    So often a restaurant menu has very little I actually want to eat. Today at Quod I could have chosen many of the things on the menu! I chose one of the specials, a Caesar salad with king prawn and anchovies. Delicious, very grown up. Then yummy cheeses with crackers, chutney, celery and apple. And a bax colada. Great meal. Wonderful South African waitress. Great ambience. Expensive, but the cost of living crisis is reflected in the increase in restaurant prices.

    Excellent tea at The Folly. Service was very good, Sandwiches, scones, cakes and tea were all really delicious. Table for 9 was very well looked after. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Thank you Folly team

    Best steak ever. Can’t fault anything here .Only one bad point was we had someone with walking problems and we had a blue badge so we parked in the disabled parking. This is on a slope and no drop kerb to access it so you have to bump up the kerb into a slope. Not the best. Otherwise perfect.
