The Bear of North Moreton is a welcoming village pub in North Moreton, South Oxfordshire that dates back to the 16th century and has always been the heart of the village. We offer a humble menu of traditional home-cooked pub dishes, using the best local producers and seasonal ingredients. We serve a range of ales, beer, and cider and have a small and curated wine list. Very friendly staff. Great service and lovely food. But it was just so chilly in there. People were wearing their coats on the next table. Yes it was a cold day, but no excuse for not boosting up the heat.

Absolutely exceptional. We’re still buzzing! The food was outstanding. Really delicious combinations of flavours and cooked to perfection. We had the set lunch menu which was great value. What really blew us away, however, were the precautions and guidance they took to cater for my nut allergy. Many thanks to the team who were very warm and welcoming. We’re already planning another lunch!
