Carmella’s Plates & Pints is the first restaurant for co-owners, Carmella Salem and Michael Alberter. Our kitchen creates upscale comfort cuisine.Our dining room has a warm and cozy feel due to the wood- beamed cathedral ceiling, open fireplace, taxidermy and stained glass windows that adorn the dining room. Our guests feel as though they are tucked away at some destination lodge that exists in the heart of the Historic Southside. Local meats are delivered daily with Wild Game plates on the menu such as our staple plates like the Bison Burger and Smoked Wild Boar Meatballs. We do have an intimate 60 seat dining room and ask that guests please call us for parties of 6 or more to make a reservation. Our expansive Whiskey Bar boasts over 500 Selections. Enjoyed a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner in this marvelous venue! EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!!! We live in Florida but are from Pa. We discussed making this a Thanksgiving tradition. Everything from venue to people and service to food and drink was incredible! The only disappointment was they didn’t have any Christmas decorations up. I understand they put those up the weekend after Thanksgiving. It would have made for a more festive atmosphere. They’re open 7 days a week and I highly recommend one visit for lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch.

Terrance was a very attentive excellent server. The chopped salad was delicious with the homemade bread. Got orecchiette which has such a great blend of chicken, garlic, squash and pasta. Our other entree was Cioppino filled with scallops, swordfish, shrimp, mussels & calamari-- Unbelievable!! Portions are perfect. Especially love the option to have half orders on pasta. A true asset to Downtown- highly recommend.

We had a lovely birthday dinner at Altius. The food was delicious and service was excellent! Our server, Kate, was very attentive and knowledgeable recommending outstanding dishes and wines. Views are gorgeous!
