Our dining was fabulous ! Our server, Wilma C. , and the table staff was magnificent and deserves all the credit for our wonderful meal experience. Our dinner has always been delicious and was greatly enhanced by Ms. Wilma C. with her enjoyable table side manner and attentiveness to our needs. Fantastic service, and simply outstanding food. We had one member of our party who needed GF options, and everyone was not only understanding, but fantastic about making recommendations and suggesting options for them. Ambience wasn't quiet, but we were able to converse without any real issues.

Outstanding!! I normally do not like to go to restaurants on days they have special menus. However, the Valentine's choices were wonderful! The lobster and tuna appetizers were delicious, as were the Branzino entree and the luscious raspberry tarts! Julio's service was so refined and helpful, as usual. And James opened a lovely burgundy and provided a delightful evening surprise!! I love going here. I wish I could enjoy the cuisine and service more often. My go-to spot for top flight dining and service in the region.

This was my partner and i’s two year anniversary and when I made the reservation it asked me to say what the occasion was and I picked anniversary. When we got to our table they had a lovely card from the staff wishing us happy anniversary and a red rose. The whole night staff members came up to us wishing us happy anniversary and it was very nice. Our server was so nice and he went through the menu with us very thoroughly and accommodated my gluten allergy very well. Overall terrific experience

J Gilbert's is an excellent neighborhood restaurant that provides a wide array of dining options; ranging from casual, to bar scene, or upscale private dining with attentive and responsive service. The menu is varied for a wide array of choices. Portions are large and filling. What makes J Gilbert's so special is the courtesy, diligence and professional manner in which the wait staff takes care of guests.
