What a lovely festive evening at Craftsman Saloon. The outside is all decorated for Christmas and as soon as you enter, you are transported into a wonderland. The music and decor are beautiful. What a perfect way to cap off the Christmas season. The food was less than stellar but prices are good. Our server Brie was attentive and kind. We’ll definitely be back next year for drinks and maybe apps.

We went for lunch & shared charcuterie, cheese plate, & Trout Almondine. All were excellent. Our server, Makenzie, was delightful & attentive without being intrusive, and helpful with suggestions. The only negative was uncomfortable chairs. Otherwise, we had a lovely leisurely lunch.

My meal was good along with another woman’s. My husband’s salmon was also good. But the other gentleman’s steak was sent back due to not being cooked as ordered. My husband’s drink had to be sent back. Bartenders in general have a hard time with his drink. Too much sweet vermouth in his manhattan. Desert was good. Getting a table took a bit of time with reservations, but we did get seated.

I hadn't been to this restaurant in 5 years. Because I don't live in the area anymore. But upon revisiting it, I realized how much I missed it. The food was absolutely outstanding. I ordered the same dish from five years ago there is my go to when patronizing. I also spoke with the owner, and it was like new time had passed. He made me feel very welcome. And I will absolutely be back a lot sooner than 5 years. Actually, probably maybe a couple weeks, I don't want to burn myself out on such a great thing. But the meal was spectacular. I had to get dessert to go unfortunately, but at least I would get to enjoy it later. I had to catch a movie. What can I say time was of the essence. I would highly recommend patronizing this establishment. You will not regret it in any way. And you will probably become a lifelong customer, as I am
