I will say that we found it very odd that we ordered two filet mignon, and it was cut horizontally and served that way, instead of like a traditional fillet being prepared and served in its whole state. By cutting it horizontally, we felt like it was overcooked. We had ordered rare for one steak and medium rare for the other and both were overdone .
