Osteria Alberico is a neighborhood Italian haven in Englewood, Colorado. Led by Chef Russell Stippich, the restaurant celebrates Italy’s culinary traditions with Napoletana-style pizza, rustic pastas, and rotating proteins. The inviting atmosphere features an open layout with wood-wrapped banquette seating, deep red leather booths, and a rich soapstone bar. Textures of Italy are present in the white painted brick, custom-forged brass dome light fixtures, and stained wood paneling. Osteria Alberico boasts a comprehensive beverage program, offering a curated selection of Italian wines from benchmark producers and a full bar with classic cocktails, Italian spirits, and amaro. Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. The restaurant is located on South Pearl Street and is the second restaurant of the Kizaki brothers, founders and owners of Sushi Den. The menu is arranged in a tapas style, serving traditional Japanese small plates along with dishes infused with international flavors and textures. The more traditional Japanese offerings include sashimi and nigiri, sourced from daily fish shipments from around the globe, along with dumplings and noodle dishes. The global cuisine experiments with a bevy of different flavors including unique items such as Grilled Panzanella Salad (jumbo lump crab, toasted focaccia, local goat cheese, pistachios, plum wine vinaigrette), Kobe Beef Sliders (seared foie gras, pomme frittes). A gluten-free menu is also available along with a popular weekday happy hour from 5 to 6:30 pm.

    The staff is always very friendly and so kind. The sushi is always top notch and melts in your mouth. The only sad part is that most everything was sold out by Saturday night. Four to five of the items that we were trying to order were already sold out by the time with got to dinner at 7:00pm. I've had sushi in Seattle, Baltimore, San Fransico, and Seoul, South Korea, and Izakaya Den is easily my top choice in sushi.

    Food was very good. Service was excellent. It’s loud in there because there isn’t much to break up the noise but that’s not a deal breaker. We were a little surprised at the portion sizes of the pasta dishes. I’m not saying they should serve an entire family but they seemed a little skimpy. The branzino was delicious. We’ll go back for sure.

    What an amazing experience! The pizza was amazing. The rack of lamb was absolutely stunning. Great preparation cooked perfectly. The appetizers were fantastic. Nothing is pedestrian. They take everything and prepare it just a step above. The service was very spot on our waiter Romeo was very attentive and genuinely loved his job and was very good at it. The wine list was carefully put together with great Italian selections that paired fantastically with the menu . Thank goodness this restaurant is not too close to where I live. Otherwise I’d be there at least twice a week!!! 😂🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
