Umi Sake House is a unique Japanese cuisine restaurant in the Belltown area of Seattle featuring the highest quality seafood available in the Northwest, a large izakaya-style tapas menu, and boasting a sake list of over 60 imported Japanese bottles. We enjoyed our first experience so much that we came back 4 days later. Our 2nd meal was even better than the first! We enjoyed the sushi rolls and sashimi very much. The garden room has a great vibe and although it can get a little loud, it’s worth it. Service is always good. We will be back!

We were seated at our reservation time at a premium table. Our waitress was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and efficient. Salad was unique and very flavorful. Small plate to share at Nichol’s recommendation, of scallops was outstanding. Main courses were again unique, flavorful, and exquisite. Desert was to die for. Best meals we’ve had, ever, in Seattle! Can’t wait to return.

Loved it. Everything was perfect for our last meal with our son before he left for California. The table next to us was a little loud, but that couldn't be helped. The service was great and the food was exceptional. We will definitely be back.
