Behind an unmarked door adjacent to the wine room, guests are transported to District 1 (China Town) in Saigon via Blackhouse’s 28-seat restaurant-within-a-restaurant, LSXO. A spinoff of the Little Sister brand (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach & Downtown Los Angeles), LSXO is love letter to the culture, heritage, and lineage of Vietnam (Vuong’s relatives hail from the region). Love sitting on the beach! It was wonderful and our server was exceptional! My only complaint is the scrambled eggs seemed to be uncooked in places and very discolored— not how I remembered them from prior visits.

We had an excellent dining experience at the Pelican Grill not only is it in a beautiful location and the service from Luis was top-notch, but the food was incredible. We had the tableside risotto in the Parmesan wheel and it was an amazing experience. I would recommend this place to any locals or out-of-town guests. Highly recommend!!

Very good Japanese yakiniku aka bbq. The quality of meat and marinade are excellent. We had Tokyo style beef tongue and Kobe beef tongue; US prime short ribs, US prime Rosu and Kobe Short ribs. All meat are tender, soft and juicy. No doubt Kobe one stands out. Service are great, you are getting enough attention during your meal time but not overly. This is one of our favorite bbq place in LA area. We would definitely come here every time we visit LA.
