Serafina Restaurant Group was conceived when Vittorio Assaf and Fabio Granato made a pact while traumatically lost at sea. The two friends agreed to open a restaurant serving the best pizza and pasta in the world if they were to survive the ordeal. Had an absolutely amazing dinner, the portions are huge and great for sharing with friends and family. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and attentive as well as good at making recommendations. The atmosphere is also lovely, I celebrated my 30th birthday here and am so glad with the choice I made!

Phenomenal experience. The staff was so courteous and attentive, and were very kind in managing our requests. The ambiance was superb of course, the historical Plaza Hotel speaks for itself. The tea was delicious and the menu was filled with interesting and delicatessen items (food you won't likely find in other places). We were also pleasantly full despite the seemingly small samplers. Definitely a special experience. Also the decor for the holiday season is beautiful in an elegant want. Highly recommend seeing it for yourself.

Carmine's is a New York institution. I was visiting from the UK and it had been 11 years since my last visit. In that time, nothing has changed except this time we were reminded that the portions would be huge! With this in mind, we ordered the meatballs and spaghetti which were delicious, nearly managing to clear the plate! The house Prosecco was excellent. Waiters gathered around tables to sing a raucous "Happy Birthday " to certain clients, adding to the buzz and energy that Carmine's delivers with such style. A must if you're visiting New York and fancy a good (large) Italian.
