Building on our experience at Viet Eat Holborn, Viet Eat Pho & Bun was created in October 2015, with a new concept that aims at revolutionising the offering of Vietnamese street food in London. We decided to name our second venue ‘Ganymede’ after the largest Moon of Jupiter. We here at The LPC also value legacy and know that 139 Ebury Street, in its previous incarnation, was named The Ebury Wine Bar – an institution. Thus, as to give a nod to its heritage, we believe the name Ganymede is apt, as in Greek Mythology – Ganymede was a Trojan Aristocrat who was kidnapped by Zeus while the King of the Gods was in the form of an eagle and Ganymede was taken to the top of Mount Olympus to become ‘the Wine Pourer/Cupbearer to the Gods for all eternity’.

Gorgeous afternoon tea. Little ones everywhere where with the book which I found out later was giving to them for free. Friendly attentive staff, delicious sambos and champagne. Couldn’t ask for a nicer afternoon tea.

The food was good and the place was hopping. A fun time. Wines by the glass good but overpriced for the pour. Overall good, just order a bottle.

Very small restaurant and seating is very tight, but for us that highlighted authenticity and experience that we enjoyed. Really tasty and good service.

The food was exceptional. Very reasonably priced if you go for the prix fix lunch. Highly recommend the bruschetta to start followed by the sea bream. 2 courses for £25. I had the most divine green cabbage as a side. Who would have thought cabbage could taste so delicious?! Loved it !
