Excellent, attentive service. They were also very accommodating to a variety of dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble. I notified them at the time of the booking, and they confirmed the requirements two days before. The food was excellent. We had several rounds of savouries and scones. I have experienced several London afternoon teas, and I would recommend Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We celebrated my 50th birthday, so don't worry if it is an adult-only booking.

Brix was a beautiful experience for Valentines Day with my partner. We had an exceptional time. Our waiter was super friendly, informative and energetic. The food was outstanding, flavours and freshness all round. Special shout out to the Pain Killah cocktail (out of this world) and the Brix lager. Definitely try the oxtail fries, brisket croquettes, chicken thighs with that tangy tomato sauce (!!) and the spicy feta dip & bread. We loved the live music and singer which created a relaxed, classy, romantic vibe! We even got up for a little dance as she sang, was lovely. Also loved the bar downstairs which had a vinyl DJ!!! where we got a free shot and had a lovely service / conversation with the head bartender who spoke about the bar concepts. All round 10/10 spot. Definitely be coming back for more.

Great food and atmosphere. The valentines meal was nice, albeit it wasn’t clear when booking that a la carte was not being served after 5pm. Still good value considering the quality of the food. Our host Faiza was lovely. She assured we had everything we needed with enthusiasm and a smile and we were not chased for our table either. Recommended.

Ambience excellent. Very friendly staff. 4 stars on service only because we were given a 2 hour slot and our mains took more than 1 hour to come. Staff were apologetic

We always have a great time at Lore, the staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome even though they are rushing about they still take the time to talk to you, food is outstanding and the service is amazing, booked in for Sunday roast in June and December.
