Taking "dinner and a show" one step further as dinner is the show with the state-of-the-art animated dining experience by award-winning TableMation Studios™. Saffron serves an eclectic mixture of traditional Indian Cuisine punctuated by the flavors of the Himalayas. Our food stand true to its roots and origin while we source most of our produce locally. All dishes, sauces, naans and desserts are made in house from scratch. We are proud to be the first restaurant in Austin with a dedicated Nepalese menu. Nepal is a land of many flavors, while many of its dishes are indigenous and indicative of its culture and people, while few are inspired by its immediate neighbors, India and China. Our Nepalese menu is a thoughtful mix of both.

    I would like to start by saying that the food was AMAZING. drinks were awesome and we got a variety. Everything was great but felt like the server was rushing us to leave. We went early on a Friday and no one was in the restaurant but felt like we were being pushed out. Checks were picked up while we were still there and not busy at all which seems odd to me.

    Service was great, food was delicious and drinks were good too - their menu is fun and while not being 100% authentic, it is still pretty damn good! Their happy hour is also great and so worth it for an early dinner. We will definitely be going back.
