The cuisine at Chef Jean-Georges’ abc kitchen reflects a passionate commitment to the freshest organic and local ingredients possible. The restaurant’s changing menu focuses on local, sustainable, seasonal produce that does not use pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, insecticides, or GMOs. Meat, fish, and dairy are locally sourced where possible, from humanely treated, pasture-fed animals free of antibiotics and hormones. A rooftop garden provides herbs and microgreens.     They were busy, I mean frenetically busy being one of the few places open for Christmas dinner in NYC. Understandably, we were seated at 7:00 for a 6:30 reservation for party of 6. Once seated, we were attended to promptly but never rushed. Waiter, Genci (?) was knowledgeable and guided us when we had questions. Both the rib eye and filet mignon were cooked to perfection. One of the best steaks we had especially for serving such a large crowd. Meal was truly memorable and nice finish to the day.

    It was a wonderful Christmas dinner! Food was excellent and the whole service crew was very friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Jasmine who has been phenomenal! We learned about the Christmas cabin from her the last time we were at the restaurant!
