I booked a reservation for my fiancé and I for Valentine’s Day. Immediately received a friendly greeting at the door which was opened for us and walked into a very nice hotel lobby. The restaurant was to the left and the host was very welcoming! He sat us at our table and our waiter Brandon came over. Immediately we could tell that he was a kind and respectful man. Brandon made kind comments about my outfit and the importance of our time always having such a positive and kind response to everything. After we ordered and got our food we were given time to ourselves which was greatly appreciated. The food was amazing my fiancé had the Orzo Scampi and I had the 8 oz flat iron steak. It isn’t often my fiancé clears off most of her plate but tonight she did. Even after we ate and paid we were still topped off on our drinks when needed and spent time in the romantic atmosphere together. We left talking about how much we’d like to have another important date night with Cafe Whitney. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who is thinking about a date night here!

Nice Valentine’s dinner, promptly seated with our reservation. Very crowded. Food was great with a little longer than anticipated delivery, but the place was packed for Valentine’s Day. Our server, Marianna, was terrific!

Our waiter Vince was awesome. With our huge group, he did an amazing job!

We arrived in Reno after flying all day from the Midwest. We hadn’t eaten much all day and were starving at 3:30 in the afternoon. My husband ordered a ribeye with baked potato and asparagus and I had shrimp scampi. Bothe were delicious and done in a reasonable amount of time! Full bar and drinks were reasonably priced. Out waitress was excellent! We returned the next morning for breakfast. All delicious and reasonably priced! We would highly recommend!

The server seemed brand new to serving and should probably work on her facial expressions because it was very obvious that she was annoyed and overwhelmed. Other than that, brunch was great.
