The name “Ichoume” comes from the address of this street. Ichoume is located on ‘1’ Harbour Street, Darling Quarter. That’s why we named the restaurant “Ichoume” (Choume is used for addresses in Japan. It's a way of breaking a municipality into districts. 丁目(Choume) is ‘city district’, so ‘1 choume’(Ichoume) is ‘1st [city] district’).The design concept of the restaurant is a hangout for adults.The menu is supervised by AKIKO ISHIKAWA, who has accumulated her career in many restaurants. The head chef is TOMOHIKO KIMURA . He specialises in Japanese - based cuisine with French techniques and flavours.     Amazing new dinner spot. Pasta was cooked to perfection & the risotto was heavenly….I didn’t want it to end. Atmosphere and service was 2nd to none. Will definitely be returning.

    One of the best ones my girlfriend and I have been to! I love how the waiters are very attentive to the situation of our food so that we don't have to wait as much for our main course, as well as everything else. The food was very delicious as well. What an experience!

    The Grounds Coffee Factory is truly a unique spot to enjoy a stylish ambience with lovely people from the warm welcome in the beginning to the great service in the restaurant to the lovely goodbye. We not only tried the delicious, perfect lunch, coke with vanilla ice cream (super delicious even if it sounds crazy in the first place) but also enjoyed banana split and obviously the fantastic coffee. The lovely waitress Eva really made our stay perfect and treated us with so much warmth and kindness. Our factory tour beforehand with the amazing Emerson was an adventure too. He truly followed his passion to share his devotion for coffee and included us fully in his tour, answered every question and made us feel very welcome. Every single interaction was just so nice and we truly enjoyed how special each and everyone treated my family and me. Thank you so much - we'll be back! Lena, Fritz & Michele
