Chez Dominique is a family run restaurant serving French and European food. We are located on the beautiful Argyle Street just over Pulteney Bridge and our smaller dining room, which can also be booked for private dining, overlooks Pulteney Weir. We have a carefully chosen wine list and an interesting selection of drinks. Bookings of 5-6 will be seated either in our Main Restaurant or Private Dining Room. Upstairs at Landrace is a casual neighbourhood bar & bistro, our food is led by ingredients which are carefully sourced from local farms and market gardens, we work with producers who have a natural approach to growing and use regenerative, high welfare farming techniques. The menu regularly features handmade pasta, line-caught Cornish fish and meat from Haye Farm in Devon, and Huntsham Farm in Herefordshire.You can join us for a quick plate of pasta at lunchtime or a longer celebratory meal with friends & family in the evening. Our menu changes regularly, you can find sample menus updated weekly on our website.The wine/cider list changes regularly, focusing on small European growers and makers. Excellent service and food. Loved the ambience, to the extent that my husband felt like he was no longer in the UK! Good menu and gf well catered for. Very central opposite the Abbey.

A very cosy dining room. Staff were great. Helpful but not too intrusive. Food was flavourful and for me the correct portioning. Pear and endive starter amazing as was the steak onglet.

Me and my girlfriend visited The Ivy (Bath) for our 3 year anniversary and we were astonished by how ambient the entire restaurant felt. We booked for 8:45pm and were greeted and brought to our table immediately. We ordered the coolers which were both delicious and ordered olives to share for starters as we had been walking around the Christmas markets prior, eating food there also. For mains, I ate the duck curry and my girlfriend had the chicken which were both delicious.
