The Greene Oak is a contemporary 1 AA Rosette pub and restaurant in the heart of Oakley Green near Windsor in Berkshire. Taking hospitality back to it's roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team, gastronomic experiences showcasing outstanding suppliers and produce but most of all – to enjoy our great quality menu, simply prepared. The Greene Oak prides itself on offering a diverse selection of wines, beers, cask ales and ciders. Our carefully selected wine list offers an accessible range of bottles to suit all tastes and dishes and don't worry if you are driving, we have an extensive lo and no alcohol list too. There is a large garden and terrace which is covered and has heaters, with two horse boxes for the perfect unique dining experience. There is ample parking and dogs are very welcome in the bar.

There's free parking, lovely relaxed seating, a lively Shebeen bar and friendly staff waiting to serve exotic meats, espetadas - (our signature dish which is a skewer of meat or seafood, dripping with marinade over your side dish), sticky ribs and much more. An AA rated pub restaurant first built in the 1930s, The Foresters has a strong local fanbase and is a real favourite for relaxed celebration dining and those special nights out. Not only highly recommended for its wide selection of beers, real ales and wines but for its regularly changing menu of gastropub style food mostly influenced by traditionally British flavours and local, seasonal produce. We have zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour.The Boatman, is Windsor’s only pub on the river at the foot of Windsor Castle overlooking Eton Bridge. Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from. The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

    All of the team working on the morning of 15th February 2025 were delightful, polite and attentive. We could not have asked for better service. Food was delicious and delivered promptly. Atmosphere lovely (except one child having a meltdown which was managed admirably by the parents). Thanks to everyone who served us and cooked for us.

    Enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon at The Holt, afternoon tea was lovely, nice atmosphere and decorated with Christmas tress and a lovely fire. Nice to have warm scones as some places do not do this, and nice sandwiches and cakes. We needed to do a last minute change with the sandwich's from their menu, and the were very obliging to do so.

    All staff extremely happy, friendly and attentive. Felt that the food could have been a bit hotter. Must admit that the roast beef was quite tough.

    This is the second time we have had Sunday lunch and the food was delicious, service was first class. Our waitress Aga and the team were excellent, very helpful and extremely pleasant. Will definitely recommend going there.

    We’ve been dining for 3 nights at the Holt hotel and every time it was delicious and the service 10 out 10, a bit expensive but everything is I guess these days. Highly recommend the restaurant and the hotel! 🥰
