Carnegie Diner & Café offers limited reservations 30% only and 70% walk in. We are brand new and we like to accommodate all of you. Carnegie Diner features an extensive all-day breakfast menu in addition to serving a wide selection of salads, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, steaks, fresh fish, pastas, desserts and more. All day breakfast items include a Classic Benedict with optional addition of lobster, Avocado Toast, a BLT Quinoa Bowl with chopped bacon and poached eggs, Steak and Eggs, and three eggs any style served with hash browns and bread. There are a dozen types of pancakes, decadent waffles and French Toast offered. The restaurant also features a full page of plant-based options. Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free! Other menu favorites include our deviled eggs, firecracker shrimp, Atlantic grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, and penne pasta with andouille sausage & shrimp. We had a wonderful experience at Trummers in the beautiful Wine Room with our extended family for an anniversary celebration. Our waiter, John, was the epitome of excellence in service and culinary knowledge. And we enjoyed meeting the Trummers themselves! They are passionate and accomplished restauranteurs. We highly recommend Trummers!

Again the Wine House was a wonderful dining experience. The server was super friendly and I think she brought us our drinks in about 2 minutes. All four of us were more than pleased with the quality of our entrees. The Wine House has always been one of our favorite restaurants because of its quality and atmosphere.

The restaurant is super cute and very clean. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was very good. The wine was tasty. I really enjoyed seeing the products that were sold there.

Jack was out server and he was amazing! Very attentive and pleasant! We had a show to attend and he got everything out quickly in a manner where we didn’t feel rushed or uncomfortable! He was the perfect server!
