The Greendale Farm Shop Café and Restaurant is much loved by visitors and locals alike. The waitress was fab'! All of our meals were excellent. The food was hot and delivered in good time, despite the restaurant being very busy. It would be really nice if you could stock WHITE Zinfandel (not just the Rose).

Both the initial greeting and the service during the whole meal were of an impeccably high standard. Together with the delicious food, it made for a hugely enjoyable meal.

An hour's 3 mile walk from opposite EUBC along the canal path got us to The Turf. We had booked a food slot for an outside table as all the inside was full already. Waited a mere 15 minutes for the Burger and Chips which was delicious. Perfectly cooked, locally-sourced beef with seasoned chunky chips and side salad, helped down with a pint of cider on a sunny day. Great service , friendly staff, lovely well-maintained picturesque setting and tasty food. What more do you need?. Highly recommend. cheers
