Mamma Roma is an authentic Italian restaurant located at 4/7 Antigua Street Edinburgh. Situated very close to the Edinburgh Playhouse, this restaurant is not only great for Pre-Theatre diners but also has a delicious and extensive choice of menus to satisfy all customers. Mamma Roma’s restaurant is spread over multiple floors. The main dining area is decorated in Tuscan farmhouse style with paintings and medallions embellishing the walls. Welcome to Down the Hatch - EDINBURGH!We are a diner focusing on diner style food with big flavour, fresh ingredients, huge taste and all things Canadian!! Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and are not permitted from 8pm onwards. We have a 10 minute grace period for your booking. A beautiful festive treat. We felt like we’d walked into a Parisian bistro somewhere off Place de la Republic. All the food was awesome (my bourguignon with buttery mash was delicious) and the drinks (rum old fashioned, bottle of Corbiere) were perfect. Add in an attentive service, great ambience and a wedding party, wandering through to rapturous applause, and we had everything to make this a highly memorable and enjoyable lunchtime. Highly recommended. Magnifique!
