It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well.     Great service. Excellent food. I went all in for French onion. French onion soup and French onion burger with fries. Both were outstanding. In fact, the fries were the second best fries I've ever had. The best fries in the world are made by Thrashers in Ocean City, Maryland and Rehoboth, Delaware. But the fries at Linwoods are a close second.

    Front of the House - Patti was fantastic. Wonderful greeting. Makes you want to come back. Genuine, professional and does honor to the Atlas Restaurant Group brand. Wait Staff - new to me. Helpful. On her game. Observant. Meal - Maryland Crab Soup with oyster crackers and Shrimp cocktail. Seasoned. Tasty. Perfect lunch time meal. Booth - 44 requires new cushion and covering. Material is worn and does not reflect well on the Brand. Kitchen - one wonderful meal at a time. Maryland flag has aged a warrant’s replacement. Management - Professional and they circulate around the Dining Room - makes a difference. Gift cards - very nice program with $ 25 for every $ 150 purchased. great gifts.

    OMG! This place is great! The food was so good the staff was amazing. Our server was Juvanie she was so attentive, friendly, and hilarious. The service was fast without compromising the integrity of the food. Overall, I give this place 10 outta 10

    Brittany our waitress made a great restaurant, an over the top experience! She was very sociable, had great suggestions on the menu & just made the dinner a great night. We never waited for anything, she was on top of everything. She made a “10” restaurant a “20”! All of our food was perfectly cooked. The drinks were great. Her wine suggestion was incredible! Thank you
